not seemingly good prospects

yes, that is where i am tonight–overly frustrated with corporate amerika and the unavailable leadership

to guide us away from further take-overs of ever larger corporate industrial giants.  Consumer protection

needs to take on a much firmer role and with many more established giants that simply the tytons of wall street.

Our problems are stemming from ever small every day concerns like the rule that govern telephone and

digital communications companies.  The inability for the common man to get away from an abusive non functioning

relationship has all the rule written and played out by high level corporate lawyers.  The fine print is so

absurd, so fine and so verbose that it is not possible for anyone to read the agreements.  The only choise

is to say yes or to be denied service….

So I have a phone that does not work from where I need to use it and I have to pay $200 to get out of a contract

that i had to sign for two years before I ever knew if the phone was going to work….The rules are so written

by the giants that the average man has no way to interprete the jargon. Consequently, we sign yes by

checking the little box that asks if we have read the terms.

Has anyone read all the way through the contract that you have to sign to simply down load a song from itune,

or the little box that you have to check when you are purchasing a phone or some other media gadget…

Impossible, simply impossible!

Where are we headed?  The average Amerikan pays so many taxes that he/she has no manner of even

comprehending the number of taxes and surplus charges and added value charges that are tagged onto

just about every thing we do and purchase.
